Schwinn was founded in 1895 and is famous for its range of childrens scooters, bikes and strollers. The Schwinn Free Wheeler Jogging Stroller is one of the best selling jogging strollers. Jogging strollers are becoming increasingly popular over the last few years, with parents looking for a more rugged strollers than typically available. Where strollers were starting to introduce larger wheels and suspension, this strollers takes it a step further.

The Schwinn Free Wheeler Jogging Stroller features 16″ rear wheels and 12″ front, significantly larger than a traditional strollers and providing a very smooth and comfortable ride, even over very bumpy and undulating surfaces. The wheels are made from alloy with wide air-filled tires. The protective canopy includes a viewing window and provides a good coverage on sunny days. The reclining seat features a 5-point harness and comes with removable, extra thick padded seat. We found that the standard padding was not very comfortable and you can add additional padding for more comfort.

The front swivel wheel can be locked in the straight ahead position. The rear wheels feature a linked parking brake. All wheels are quick release, allowing it to fold smaller and handy for travelling.

The Schwinn Free Wheeler Jogging Stroller includes both a child and parent tray. However, the cup holder in the parent tray is too shallow, and we found that you can lose the water bottle when going over curbs or around corners. The strollers features a one handed fold, but does not provide a way to lock the stroller when folded. This should have been included, as it can be harder to store in smaller trunks, as it does tend to open up slightly. The adjustable handle bar is well padded and very comfortable. A strap is included that can be used when jogging to allow you to always keep a hold on the stroller.

A large under seat storage basket is provided. A rear pouch is also included that can be used to store small essentials that you need close to hand, such as a mobile phone.
